Weixin was born in Singapore, where she lives and works. At risk of employing words with more than five syllables:  she makes things from a variety of materials (or immaterials) : thoughts, words, images, sounds and other manifestations of the senses. She loves the affinity and significance of printing in its many different forms. She loves observing people and happenings in daily life. 
She loves chromatic  grays and clear contrasts. Above all, she is indebted to the Eternal Being whom she believes to be the first and highest Creator.
